Community Resources – Basic Needs

Do you need resources for food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, employment, transportation, financial assistance or other basic needs? In-house Coordinated Services Specialists are ready to assess your needs and connect you to available resources at local community centers in person, free of charge and in a confidential setting.  For more information and to meet with a specialist contact the following center or drop in at the following day/time:

FCPS PreK and Early Head Start programs provide a high-quality early learning experience for qualifying income-eligible children ages 6 weeks to 4 year.  Head Start has expanded its income guidelines and families are encouraged to apply now for pre-K:

Britepaths’ Workforce Development Program

Britepaths’ Workforce Development Program helps job seekers navigate the job search process and find meaningful employment. The program is designed to work with under- or un-employed men and women in an individualized and coordinated way to ensure that all of their workforce development needs are met. Must live in Fairfax County, have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills and regular access to email.
