The Gunston 5k was a huge success this weekend! Runners of all ages gathered at the historic Gunston Hall to compete in the race, with proceeds benefiting the vital after-school program. Though there was rain our day was filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and a shared love for the community. Approximately 150 runners participated, making it a memorable experience for all involved.  

The Gunston 5k was a resounding success, thanks in large part to the generous support of our community partners. We extend our deepest gratitude to Gunston Hall, Kong’s, Reworld, and Argus for their invaluable contributions. Additionally, we would like to acknowledge the support provided by Writers Pause Coffee, Wegmans, and Vulcan. The event was further enhanced by the presence of Potomac Music and Money Matters, adding to the vibrant atmosphere and enriching the overall experience.
