Reminder that school is closed April 3 - 7 for Spring Break. Students return to classes on April 10.

Put April 27 on your calendar for Gunston's STEM Night. Do you have a job in the field of STEM? Is your hobby STEM related? We are looking for parents, grandparents, friends of the family, and high school clubs who want to share a demonstration, experiment, game, or hands-on-activity at our STEM Night.

Come have some coffee and get some tips on how to help your child with math. Lisa Schroeder, our math specialist will help you use manipulatives to make sense of math for your child. Each Coffee has a different topic and is sorted by upper and lower grades. Coffees are from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on various Wednesdays through-out the year. Add the dates to your calendars now so you don't miss this helpful opportunity.

Curriculum overviews and unit standards from the planning and pacing guides are posted on the FCPS public web. The objectives and outcomes for each unit are common across FCPS and based on the Virginia Standards of Learning. These specific and detailed guides will be updated annually.
