A Morning in First Grade Language Arts
This first grade language arts class was celebrating a milestone birthday for the teacher while working on language arts in rotations. After a quick birthday donut and party hats, the teacher explained the lesson and activities for the morning.
Students were able to choose which activity they wanted to do first. The teacher met with students in small groups to work on reading. Other activities included writing a story with different parts and editing as needed, collecting bean growth data and practicing vowel teams on Schoology.
