Eclipse 2024 - A First for Most.

At 2:45 pm on April 8, 2024 many classes at Gunston put on their special viewing glasses, some modified for even better coverage (see paper plates) and braved the outdoors for a spectacular once in 20 years view of the eclipse.  Respectful quiet viewing occurred from the blacktop to grassy areas.  Every student was briefed in the viewing protocol - wear the glasses! - and all did.  Students made notes of the surrounding animal life sounds at intervals of sun coverage.
